Welcome to the page of the DniproHills Tourist Trail!<\/p>\n

NGO “DniproHills ” is an association of those interested in creating a tourist trail\u2014particularly a cycling route\u2014along the Dnipro Hills. Primarily, it brings together owners of estates, campsites, and other tourism-related services, organizations, and communities through which the route passes, as well as travel organizers, cyclists, and nature walk enthusiasts.<\/p>\n

My name is Andriy Yakovenko. For the past 15 years, I have organized bicycle tours, kayaking trips, and hikes. I even wrote a guidebook on cycling routes in the Kyiv region. That’s when the idea emerged to combine the routes that run along the right bank of the Dnipro, through the picturesque, hilly landscape of the Dnipro Hills.<\/p>\n

How is it best to travel?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The optimal way to explore this route is by bicycle, whether riding on dirt roads and trails, on a bike lane, or on lightly trafficked local roads. Part of the route can be traversed by kayak, allowing you to explore the interesting shore from the water. Additionally, some sections of the route are well-suited for hiking.<\/p>\n

The goal of the Dnipro Cliffs Tourist Trail project is to become part of the European EuroVelo network, to mark the route to European standards, and to promote both inbound and domestic tourism.<\/p>\n

All of Europe is covered by a network of tourist trails\u2014from local paths to extensive routes spanning thousands of kilometers across various countries\u2014much like the network of the “Camino de Santiago.”<\/p>\n

In Ukraine, initiatives to create similar routes have also begun; the trail along the Dnipro, through the picturesque Dnipro Cliffs, will become one of them!<\/p>\n
